Ryan worked as a craftsman who built custom furniture for Rustbelt, a Cleveland-based design and fabrication studio specializing in fully custom interior and exterior furnishings and case goods for hospitality, commercial, and residential spaces. At Rustbelt, Ryan contributed to the creation of heirloom-quality pieces designed and built in-house using locally sourced wood from within about 200 miles of the shop. The studio’s focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and material integrity ensures every piece is made to last—modern heirlooms that reflect both regional character and meticulous handmade quality.
